Mark Henry

Mark Henry is the author of the Chronicles of Amanda Feral, Celebrity Ghoul series, which is a total hoot.  He's the urban fantasy version of a really twisted Carl Hiaasen.  He claims to have been making shit up for as long as he can remember, which is good for us.  He's damn good, folks.  Happy Hour of the Damned will have you laughing your ass off.  He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two furry monsters who think they're children.  If you get the opportunity to hear Mark read, you're in for a treat.  Be warned, though, if you try to take a drink while he's reading, you're bound to spray the person in front of you when you laugh out loud.

Happy Hour has been optioned by Showtime for a possible series.  That certainly has potential.  Keep your fingers crossed.  But more important, keep buying Mark's books because no matter how good the show might be should it get made, it will pale in comparison to the novels.
